On February 4th, 2018, there was a fatal work accident that took the lives of two workers on a construction site along Interstate 95 in Miami. The two that were killed were identified to be Abel Orlando Zuniga-Fajardo, 37, and Osman Aldubin Montalvan-Ardon, 33. The two men were known to be immigrants from Honduras who were employed by Archer Western Construction Company.

The reports state that the two men were at the construction site located in the middle of the highway just north of Northwest 62nd Street between north and southbound express lanes,  inside of a trench repairing drainage pipes around 3 a.m. when one of the cement retaining walls fell on top of them.
