A warrant has been issued for a Florida man that is accused of leaving the scene of an accident that took place in Haines City. He is accused of abandoning his 2 step children ages 6 and 13.
On January 21st, 2018, it is said that Armando De Dios Cruz, 39, crashed into another vehicle which caused it to roll over. The incident happened near the intersection of U.S. 17-92 North and Hinson Avenue. According to police, Cruz violated the right of way of a car being driven by Hannah J. Arnold, who sustained a broken wrist when the two cars collided. The impact caused Cruz’s 6-year-old stepdaughter to be ejected from his vehicle in which she was airlifted to Orlando hospital and later discharged with no injury.
